The last Saturday of every month will be FREE artist demonstrations as well as occasional signature events and specialty community features you don’t want to miss out on any of the action.

FREE Living Museum Tours
As a cornerstone of the Old Town Downtown neighborhood, Portland Saturday Market recognizes the importance of our community in fostering our growth throughout the years. We invite you to the grand opening of our Living Museum! Led by one of our fabulous market family members, you will take a tour through the relics, memories, and mementos from the last 52years of our beloved Oregon Heritage Tradition.
All who attend will receive an exclusive grab back filled with handcrafted treasures from our current market vendors. Be a part of history and take a piece home with you!

When: 2 tours will take place, allowing for 15 attendees per time slot. Due to limited space, a sign-up is required to attend, after submission you will receive a confirmation email with more details on attendance.

Halloween EEKstravaganza
Portland Saturday Market, ReClaim It, and Portland Pickles Halloween EEKstravaganza event
CRAFTernoon Collab with Shane Reaney Studios and Olander Earthworks!
Our September Crafternoon is one you do not want to miss! Come on down to craft with the wonderful Andrew and Sarah of Olander Earthworks & Shane of Shane Reaney Studios!
Enjoy Texturing a 7 inch disc of clay using Olander Earthworks spheres and then watch it transformed into a plate by Shane on a pottery wheel. Choose a glaze to later be applied and come back and get your treasure in a few weeks! (or we can ship)
When: Saturday Sept 20th
Two class sessions will be offered from 12:00pm - 1pm and from 1:00pm - 2:00pm
What: 20 total participants (two friends may work on one plate), registration will be first come first serve!
Portland Saturday Market Documentary Announcement
On site meet and greet with filmmaker Keelan Booth, she will be on site with information on how to stream the film and where to watch it next!

Crafted Cocktails
Save the date to sip and shop with us! Seasonal delights await you at the Portland Saturday Market's very own Crafted Cocktails Festival, which puts a modern artisanal twist on the classic Spirits Festival from years past.
Seven local distilleries will be offering FREE tastings of their classic and festive drinks. Cocktails, bottles, and gift sets will also be available for purchase.
Be sure to keep an eye on our social media for the distillery lineup!

Adaptive mobility Demonstration and Discussion
Join Brad from Nomad Cycles on our Main Stage where he will give an interactive presentation on custom e-bike solutions, focused on the importance of giving people agency over their own mobility!
Helium Comedy Club Stand-Up Comedy Event
The best of both worlds, Helium Comedy Club is bringing their premier Portland locals to perform a stand-up comedy routine on our very own main stage!
A can’t miss event where you won’t leave empty handed, with chances to win FREE tickets to Helium Comedy Club shows and other laugh out loud prizes.
Paint & Sip
You’re Invited to Our Paint & Sip Sunday!
Come sip, shop, and paint. Facilitated by the lovely Gina Nash, a long-time vendor and friend of the Portland Saturday Market. Drop in from 1 to 3 PM to enjoy some specialty drinks and watercolor your own version of a Gina Nash original.

The event is FREE, and everyone who registers by Friday 11/15 will receive a FREE drink voucher

Halloween Spooktacular
In search of a spooky Saturday? Look no further than the waterfront! Come on down to trick-or-treat at vendor booths, vote for the best-dressed vendor, and win a scary good handcrafted prize at our costume contest.
Kids’ Costume Contest: Contest begins at 1 PM and will take place at the stage. Pre-registration is NOT needed but please arrive to the stage 15min early (12:45pm) if interested.
Trick-or-Treating: All market long at marked vendor booths from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, stop by the info booth to grab a trick-or-treat bucket to use! Participating booths will be marked by an orange paper pumpkin hanging out front.
DON’T FORGET to stop by the info booth on your way out to vote for your favorite vendor’s costume! EVERYONE who votes gets a free bus pass or parking validation, just ask the info booth!
