In June of 1974 the Butterfly Parking Lot became the first official home of Portland Saturday Market, over half a decade later and we are still a thriving market home to hundreds of talented small businesses.
As always, every purchase from Portland Saturday Market is directly supporting local handcrafted artisans and creatives!
Want to join in on the fun early! Print out or pick up a coloring sheet at the info booth starting on June 1st and return it by June 13th to be entered! This contest is open to all ages; designs will be displayed on our anniversary and open to public vote! The winning artist will win a PSM prize package! - If you print your own coloring sheet don’t forget to write your name and number on the back!
Coloring contest designs must be dropped off at the red information trailer by 5pm Saturday June 13th!

Items must be no larger than the size of a golf ball, Notes, drawings, and pictures of you at the market are also encouraged

12pm and 1pm - Craft and Cake Walk: Our FIRST EVER Craft and Cake Walk! Happening around the city’s oldest water fountain on the Ankeny side of our site!
Winners will choose from an array of handcrafted treasures and treats | This isn’t your average cake walk; in Saturday Market fashion all prizes will be crafted by our talented craft and food vendors!
Two games with multiple rounds each will be happening at 12pm and 1pm
