While I have always been an avid outdoorsperson, gardener, and forager, I now have limited mobility, and my art has become a way to pursue my passions from within my studio on days when my body is unable to take me into nature.
My main mediums are watercolor and a variety of fiber arts including, natural dyes, weaving, felting, and more. My subjects are usually whimsical arrangements of fungi, flora, and fauna, both real and created. I believe that art should be accessible so I also enjoy teaching these skills and techniques to others in the form of workshops, community events, and private lessons. Through my art, I seek to mirror my humanitarian values and a restorative relationship with wild places, passionate souls, and living things.
