My process starts with an adventure. When i'm adventuring, i take a great deal of photos. Those photos are transferred into sketch on a clean gallery wrapped canvas, Then, the fun begins. I mainly paint with acrylic for its fast drying effects, and i usually put a clear coat on for protection and glossier look. I finish it off with a clean raw custom built frame. Simple.

I am inspired by the subtle ways that nature effects us and stays with us. My paintings are kind of like memories of a time you were at the beach and it was just perfect. You cant recall it in perfect detail but the impression, and the feeling remain.

I was born and raised in Louisiana. I studied charcoal drawing and painting at BRCC. For a number of years by day i worked as a graphic designer and by night i was putting my art in local gallery events and shows. I've since moved to the Pacific Northwest and have put my hands into many different artistic avenues. I paint, selling at art markets and shows as well as taking on custom requests, i design for local businesses, and i illustrate childrens books. But at the end of the day, painting is my passion.
